Inglewood Unified School District Update- 2-21-20

There was a water main break at Morningside High School this past Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Inglewood Unified School District staff immediately responded with repair efforts. The school promptly notified parents, students and staff of the situation.

IUSD presented to the CCEE Governing Board, February 6, 2020

County Administrator Dr. Erika Torres, LACOE support team Megan Locklear and Sandra Naranjo, and California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) partner Dr. Karla Estrada, had the opportunity to present to the CCEE Governing Board, which includes State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond! The team had the awesome opportunity to highlight the progress of Inglewood Unified School District in Sacramento!

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! The upcoming school year brings the excitement of new beginnings and opportunities to learn and grow. Our amazing and rejuvenated staff is eager to work with their new group of students. I am the proud of Principal of the Worthington Bobcats.
 
Our staff is committed to building life-long learners and providing a challenging and productive school year. At Worthington Elementary, we embrace 21st century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, and cooperation.
 
Worthington Elementary is committed to helping all children achieve academic success and becoming responsible and valuable members of society. We strive to create a positive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of all our students. 
 
I have an open door policy and am willing and eager to work with all members of our school community.  I welcome all comments, suggestions, ideas, and feedback which may improve our relationship and school community.
