Principal's Message

Dear Bobcat Family and Friends,

I would like to welcome you to Worthington Elementary School, where we nurture and believe that each student is capable of meeting academic standards in reading, writing and math and that our school has the power to make that opportunity a reality.  My name is Susan Ippongi, and I am your interim principal.  My years of experience have been with the Inglewood Unified School District family and served in roles as teacher, program coordinator, principal, and principal coach. Our talented professional teachers and staff find the very best ways to work together in order to get academic growth from all students. We believe in collaboration with all partners and achieving the best from all students through student leadership roles and being critical thinkers on campus.  Our school provides this through our dual immersion programs and english programs.  We are committed to serve you and your family through health and wellness services and leadership development activities throughout our programs.

Ms. Susan Ippongi
