There was a water main break at Morningside High School this past Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Inglewood Unified School District staff immediately responded with repair efforts. The school promptly notified parents, students and staff of the situation.
County Administrator Dr. Erika Torres, LACOE support team Megan Locklear and Sandra Naranjo, and California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) partner Dr. Karla Estrada, had the opportunity to present to the CCEE Governing Board, which includes State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond! The team had the awesome opportunity to highlight the progress of Inglewood Unified School District in Sacramento!
The Inglewood Unified School District is committed to providing all students with a rigorous educational program, which prepares them to be college and career ready and productive citizens. Our students will attend safe schools that enhance student learning and well-being. Every learner, PK through adult, has the right to be educated in a safe, respectful and welcoming environment. Every educator has the right to teach in an atmosphere free from disruption and obstacles that impede learning.
